  • Sixth Form Dress Code

    Pershore Sixth Form is a professional working environment and sixth form students are seen as role models for the whole school.  However, we recognise that our Sixth Form students are young adults and do not want to issue a prescriptive list that would limit individuality.  Therefore there is a degree of flexibility in what can be worn.  Please see below a list of items that are not permitted as guidance.

    The following are not permitted:

    Category

    Smart/Casual

    Trousers/ Skirts

    The following are not permitted:

    • Blue denim Jeans/Skirts
    • Jogging bottoms / lounge wear (oversized / baggie in design)
    • Sports leggings.
    • Skirts, dresses and shorts must be a suitable length.

    Tops/ shirts/Jackets/jumpers

    Tops that expose the abdomen are not permitted.    

    No large/ obvious or offensive artwork or, logos or slogans are allowed.

    No hoodies are permitted.

    Shoes

    • No white trainers
    • No high heels/flip flops (for health and safety reasons)

    Hats

    • No Hats/Caps permitted

    Notes:

    It remains the right of Leadership Team and the Head of Sixth Form to determine whether a student’s personal appearance is appropriate for a school sixth form environment.

    We endeavour to maintain a positive relationship between staff and students, and therefore politely request that all students adhere to this policy.
